In fact, in the last fiscal year alone, SJB volunteers provided nearly 1200 hours of service to our programs and operations. SJB is pleased to announce the creation of a much-needed new home for SJB. Our goal is to raise $500,000 by June 2008 and funds will be used to renovate and maintain an existing building in San Jose. Once completed, the site will include the Bill Williams Literary Center, house all our administrative functions under one roof and significantly expand our parent training and education program impact. Creating this space will also:
- Increase profitability by allowing us to serve more clients
- Provide additional parenting classes and job training to help our valley's parents and caregivers break the cycle of poverty
- Streamline operations and maximize efficiency
