It takes a community to raise a child. SJB relies on the caring individuals in our community to provide their valuable time and talents to our organization. We are appreciative of the extra effort individuals make to strengthen our community.
We offer several flexible volunteer opportunities throughout the year:

• Board Members – These individuals will be an advocate for SJB Child Development Centers supporting and promoting SJB throughout the community. Attend meetings, functions and events regularly. Invest in the organization and believe in its mission, philosophy and vision.
• Ongoing – These volunteer positions are an integral part of our daily operations. Regular hours and days are assigned to maintain consistency for volunteers and the agency alike.
• Occasional – SJB holds several events and activities throughout the year. These volunteer placements generally last only a few hours or days, but volunteer contributions are invaluable to the success of our events.
• Special Projects – These short-term volunteer assignments focus on a specific project and small groups of volunteers often work in tandem with SJB staff to complete the project.
• Interns – SJB welcomes college students who must include practical experience as part of their coursework. Our staff will work with instructors and students to develop hands-on experience that satisfies course requirements and the student’s interest alike.
