As CEO of SJB Child Development Centers, Kelly Mercurio brings years of experience, leadership, and vision to her role. Kelly has worked in the Early Childhood Education field since 1986, spending over 3 decades serving children and families throughout Santa Clara County. In that time, Kelly has occupied every position from Teacher Assistant to Deputy Director, and everything in between, embodying the unique vantage point of one who has truly experienced all aspects of the industry. Guided by the belief that relationships are at the foundation of everything, Kelly strives to build sustainable connections with SJB staff, families, and community. With a mission of SJB being the “agency of choice,” Kelly and her team are committed to providing high-quality programs, instilling a deep sense of community, and creating safe and welcoming environments for all. Kelly currently resides in Morgan Hill with her husband and 2 children. With life’s busy schedule, she cherishes quality time with her family, especially quick getaways to the coast and family movie nights. She is honored each and every day to work alongside such an incredible team and looks forward to what the future has in store for SJB.
