Marian F. Dixon has served on SJB’s Board of Directors for 7 years. Fiercely committed to making an impact, Marian has taken on many roles to serve the community. She was Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Genesis United Methodist Church for 5 years. She is a 43-year member of Jade Temple 1294, a local chapter of the Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks of the World, a non profit organization dedicated to charitable projects. Marian currently serves as the Grand Regional Directress of Education for Region 7 of the Grand Lodge Department of Education. In 2019, Marian was honored with a Phenomenal Woman award from Building Peaceful Families. Marian worked for the City of San Jose for 31 years, up until her retirement in 2007. She currently serves as SJB’s Board Secretary.
